Reynolds Fellowship

The Donald W. Reynolds Fellowship program provides an exciting opportunity to pursue your innovative ideas, test them with real-world experiments, use applied research to assess their effectiveness, and deliver solutions that citizens and journalists can put to use in their own communities.

RJI seeks proposals for the eight-month Fellowship that will shape the future of journalism using the latest in technology and innovation. Applicants should explain how they plan to use the unique resources available at RJI and the University of Missouri as well as their own networks to apply their work to the industry.

Proposal: Your proposal will be judged by its quality and its potential for real-world impact. The proposal should describe how technology, research and experimentation opportunities at RJI and the Missouri School of Journalism will enhance your work. The proposal should contain a coherent plan, timeline and budget for the project. The technology, travel, and research support needed should also be outlined. Resume: Focus on your accomplishments, achievements and experience as they pertain to the project proposal. Demonstrate how these prepare you to succeed at your project.
