Freddie Hubbard The Grandmaster of American Jazz Trumpeter

Freddie Dewayne Hubbard, which is also well known as Freddie Hubbard was born April 7, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A. Hubbards unmistakable and influential trumpet tone was considered as one of the best American Jazz Trumpeters, besides of vigorous Clifford Brown and unrestrained Lee Morgan.

Hubbards journey to stardom is began, when he moved to New York in 1958 and playing with some of the best jazz players of the era, including Eric Dolphy, Phillip Joe Jones, Quincy Jones.

Two years later, in June 1960, Hubbard decided to make his first record, Open Sesame together with saxophonist Tina Brooks, pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Sam Jones and drummer Clifford Jarvis.

Hubbard most refulgent moment was in 1961, when he joined Art Blakeys The Jazz Messengers and collaborates with one of the greatest saxophonists in that era, Wayne Shorter.

One of the songs, A Weaver of Dream is absolutely smooth and relaxing. This song is best to play, especially before you go to bed

Due to Hubbards exceptional talent in Trumpet, he was best described as The Most brilliant trumpeter of a generation Hes totally well deserved to be called as The Grandmaster of American Jazz Trumpeter, after he accepted the NEA Jazz Masters Award in 2006.

Czeslaw Spiewa The Polishs Alternative Folklore Band

Unlike other folklores bands, this Polish alternative folklores band is a little bit different. Why I said like this? Well, youll know the answer, if you keep on reading

Czeslaw Spiewa, a quartet alternative folklore band from Poland. Their first album, Debuit is a mix of alternative and experimental folklore (Definitely a very different style for sure!)

The main instruments for this album are the accordion, saxophone and harmonica. It remains me of my first love moment

Emily, the Accordionist playing the heavenly accordion music, while sucking the tasty strawberries on her fingertips. Walked along the riverside and trying to remember the long lost innocent childhoods memory.

The whole track is ending up with a clown sitting on a wooden box, where hes all alone by himself. Then, the curtain fall down slowly and slowly (Its quite a sorrowful moment)

Venue Connection The Contemporary Music Band from Madrid

When I approached this band for the first time, a question mark flashed through my mind instantly

I was wondered, Hmm, whats the specialty of this band? However, thanks to Miguel, a friend of me from Barcelona, informed me that the Venue Connection is a very unique band. Not like other band, it simply mix with many genre of music, such as Electronic, Lo-Fi, jazz, Lounge, Funk, Pop and many more

He told me that Venue Connection was established in 2002 at Madrid, Spain. The band is currently having six members, which as:

Javier del Aguila (Bass, lead guitarist)
Angeles Dorrio (Sitar player)
Miguel Cabana (Drummer)
J.Barrett (Saxophone player)
Igor Prochazka (Keyboarder)
Karl Frierson (Vocalist)

I dont want to talk too much, but Im going to leave you with the song, Stand Up.

Velvet The No.1 Swedish Dance Queen!

Scandinavia, the homeland of the Northern Europe countries, is always produced many new talents, especially in the Euro-pop and dance industry!
Jenny Marielle Petersson, who is best known as Velvet is definitely the top-notch dance queen in Sweden.

Since 1993, Velvet had moved from Helsingborg to Stockholm, so that she can learn ballet at Balettakademien. She worked at Wallmans cabaret and toured as a choir singer cum dancer for eight years, before Bonnier Amigo Music Group discovered her in 2005.

Since then, Velvet released her first single, Rock Down To (Electric Avenue). It has turned into a big hit in Sweden and worldwide! Even until now, the song is frequently played in many clubs.

Velvet has also participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, but she lost the spot to Carola. However, her song, Mi Amore was rapidly turned into a hit song in Sweden, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Greece and Italy.

If you want to feel the rhythm of disco and dance beat, maybe this song, Chemistry is the ultimate choice for you

Nuria Fergo The Sizzling Hot Flamenco Singer

Music world is always full with many surprises. I didnt know that there are many different genre of music, including the very least yet infamous Flamenco music, could be turned into a popular music as well!

Nuria Fergo, a gorgeous Spanish singer from Nerja, Malaga, Spain, who is already gained her famous in the music industry with the sizzling hot Flamenco music.

When Nuria took part in the Spanishs first season reality show contest, Operacion Triunfo in 2001, the local records company had already spotted her talent.

A year after the competition, Nuria released her first debut album, Brisa de esperanza. It sold like hot cupcakes (360,000 copies) and being certified with three platinum.

After seven years, Nuria is released her fifth debut album, Tierra de Nadie on May 26, 2009. She said that the new album had mixed with some dance element, but its totally different with the Lady Gagas dance music style.
