Dos and Donts Before You Go for a Trip Part 2

How are your days, my friends? Its good to see you again

In the last topic, were discussing about the dos and donts before you go for a trip. Ok, its time to continue our journey and hope youre ready for it

No.6 Credit cards and Travelers cheques
Dos: Its essential to bring at least a credit card beside you. It would be even better, if you can equip yourself with travelers cheques.

Donts: Honestly, cash money is not the first option. Hence, you shouldnt bring too much of cash, especially if youre traveling in the area with high criminal rate.


No.7 Passport size photos
Dos: Its for the precaution to redeem your passport again, especially when your passport was gone, due to the pickpocket.

Donts: Its not a good idea, if you take the passport size photos in the local photo shops, as you might be scammed by the shop owners!

No.8 Travel tags
Dos: Apply the travel tags on each of your luggage. You should write down your name, address and telephone number on the travel tags.

Donts: Its not a good idea, if you didnt place the travel tags on your luggage.

No.9 IDD calls
Dos: Check the IDD calls rate carefully, before youre going to that country. You should prefer the home based telephone than mobile phone.

Donts: Dont make any mobile phone calls, if its not necessary. I bet you dont want to accept a skyrocketing mobile phone bills, once youre backed from vacation, isnt it?

No.10 Photocopy

Dos: Photocopy your passport, air passenger ticket, driving license and credit cards into three copies. Keep one copy by yourself, one copy for the ambassador and another one at your homeland!

Donts: Without the photocopies of your important documents, youre risking your life in the foreign countries.

Thats all for today. Next time, Im going to give more tips, especially when youre traveling to rural or remote areas

Dos and Donts Before You Go for a Trip Part 1

My friends always asked me, Wilson, would you please tell me, whats the dos and donts, before I travel to another country?

Ok, even though Im not the famous Travel Guru, but I have a list of several tips that might shed you some light on what to do, when youre traveling to foreign countries!

No.1 Clothes

Dos: Try to be as casual as possible.

Donts: Never try to wear something over attractive, as you might become the target of the local pickpockets or gangsters!

No.2 Luggage

Dos: Keep it light and simple.

Donts: Overweight luggage, as its not only slowdown your traveling speed, but also cause you losing a lot of energy, especially if youre traveling with it to everywhere you go.

No.3 Important Stuffs

Dos: You should keep your eyes on the important stuffs, such as passport, cash or credit cards inside the hotels/motels coffer. Remember, if youre traveling on the tourist attractions, keep the passport, cash and credit cards in different parts of your body!

Donts: Its a very dangerous move to put all your important stuffs inside your wallet, as you might become the target of pickpocket anytime!

No.4 Spectacle

Dos: For those who wearing spectacle like me, you should prepare another pair of spectacle.

Donts: Please, never ever put the spectacle together with the medicines! Its better to separate them.

No.5 Medicines

Dos: For avoiding the trouble, you should keep your medicines inside the original medicines bottle or boxes.

Donts: Youre advised not to put the medicines into a plastic bag, as it might put you in trouble or causing you in custody for several to 24 hours!

Lets telling the truth. One of my biggest reasons, why Im traveling to other countries is to experience the exotic yet unique local attractions by myself. Honestly, I hated to go those places, which are filling with many tourists traps!

First of all, do you know what is the meaning of Tourist Traps? Its an establishment, which has been well-designed to attract tourists, whether the local or the foreign tourists. The main purpose of the tourist trap is to encourage the tourists to spend more money out from their wallets
