2012 Calendar Brushes

Wow, tell me another year hasn’t flown by already! Feels like we only just finished celebrating Christmas holidays and now here i am preparing for them all over again. Time sure does fly when you’re getting older!

So, here’s a quick post to put up these 2012 calendar photoshop brushes. Pretty much exactly the same as the brushes below in my last post (how tragic, the proof is right there, i haven’t posted in nearly a year)

There is one big difference (i just remebered) the first day of the week is Sunday. S M T W T F S. You get the picture. no big dramas there though i’m sure.

Vital statistics:
Size – Large, up to 2450px wide
Brush count – 12 brushes, one for each month
Font – Monterey – pretty font

2011 Calendar Brushes

Out with the old and in with the new!

Just like the old 2010 calendar set these brushes are huge at 2500px square.  There are just the 12 brushes included, one for each month so if you want the pretty background brushes you will have to grab the old ones from the 2010 set.

What are these good for? Well aside from the obvious calendar you can use them in invitation designs, save the date card designs if you’re getting married, they’re handy for digital scrapbook layouts and pretty cards.  Year planners, photo cards, mini books and a heap more things.

Holy moly it has been a heck of a long time since i last even looked at my brush blog.

Just wanted to give a shout out to a set of printable Halloween Decorations over at make-your-own-invitations.com. Way cool.

Filmstrip Brushes

Ok. I have a couple of sets to upload. The first brush set is this set of negative or filstrip brushes – you know the type you get from a roll of camera film and the like.

There is a bit of a mixture with 12 brushes in total.  There are some single, double and sets of 4 frames (would that be quadruple frames? i dunno) Anyways, you can tack them on to the ends of each other to extend the strip to be as long as you like. There are some grungey overlay frames for a bit of texture too.

They’re pretty big , so you can use em for print very easily. Good for scrapbooking, photo frames, making diy invitations and the like.

hmmm…… i quite like this set.

Free Christmas Brushes

I made some printable Christmas cards to send out to the fam and me mates this year. These are some of the images and graphics that I used.

There are nine different images and each one is made up of 2 or more brushes.  The outline of each image has been made into a brush and can be layered with their buddy brushes, it makes them a little more flexible to use for coloring them in. You should be able to figure out which brush belongs to what image.

Christmas Brush set contains:

- 3 snowflakes
- candy cane
- christmas stocking
- a couple of baubles
- some mistletoe
- and a tree

This isn’t a very large set of brushes but they do come in handy for some xmas fun. Free for personal use.

2010 Calendar Brushes

I can not believe I haven’t added this brush set yet!!! My calendar set was the first brush i ever made… I totally forgot about them. Never mind Im adding them now.

This set is pretty self explanatory.  It’s a calendar. There are 14 brushes in total. 12 brushes, one for each month of the year and a couple of basic background brushes. They are pretty big at a whopping 2500 pixels wide.

Each month has a watermark for 2010. If you’re not to keen on having that then let me know. I think I might adios the watermark for more flexibility.
AMMENDMENT 27-11-9: GOT RID OF THE WATER MARK AND CREATED A 2010 BACKGROUND MASK INSTEAD!!

That’s about it really.You can use them to make your annual Christmas Photo calendar gifts or xmas cards. make year planners or use them on your invitations and save the date cards.  Great little stamps for scrapbooking and making mini albums too.

Made with CS2, super huge brushes, free for personal use only, blah blah.

Free Ticket Invitation Brushes

Made some little carnival ticket themed Invitations for a little buddy celebrating their birthday. I tried a couple of different designs and ended up with these. Transformed the graphics into free Photoshop Brushes for you all to play with at your leisure.
There are 3 enormously large invitations as well as a few random shapes and designs that i ended up with. A party pass invitation, A round invite, a ticket type invite, Admit one, some x’s and o’s to circle the party dates and other info.
You can create a printable invitation that you can fill out the details with by hand or add your party info in PS and print directly on to cardstock ready to send to your guests.

As usual – free for personal use, made in cs2, terms of use included in zip…

Take a look at my blog roll, I have no internet buddies   So sad.

If I’m going to make my mark on this world wide web then I had better get a buddy or two right!  I feel like that kid in the playground that no one will play with. lol.

So how do I get on your blog roll or friend list? I’d love to see my site listed somewhere, anywhere…. Is there some secret rite im supposed to do that i’ve not been made aware of yet.  Or is it as simple as “I’ll add you if you add me”

Whatever I need to do to spread the love, can someone tell me… (or maybe add me) sigh…

Photo Booth Strip Brushes

Made these photobooth brushes which were inspired by the old school photostrips that your mamas and papas used to have back in the olden days. lol.

I have created them to be about the same dimensions as the most common of the photobooth strips.  There are two different kinds of photostrips. One has rounded corners and the other with plain old regular corners. The third brush is a grungey overlay that you can use over top of either of the other two to give your pic some texture.  Play around with the layer options – try ‘overlay’ or  ‘multiply’ for some cool effects and adjust the opacity to suit.

Oh, and these brushes are huge – 2420px x 466 so you should have no problems at all using them with your high res photographs.

Use them on your Save the date cards, wedding invites, scrapbook layouts, photo protfolio, wall art etc.

vintage photoshop brushes

I got out my collection of old stuff that i’d collected over the years and put together this vintage image set. Amongst all this junk was a small case of photos, letters, ephmera and other memoribilia that i picked up from the local car boot sales – I thought it was such a waste that 80+ family pics had been lost so i tracked down a descendant yesterday and have organised to post them off in the next week or so.  The letter in this set was written to Mary in the late 1800′s and the menu card is from her wedding reception.

Included in this set is:

- body form           – an old key                    – stamps
- an old bingo card and counters
- a camera               – some post cards      – meny card
- a vintage bicycle and pocket watch    – a butterfly image
- an old letter         – a crown                       -  and a pattern

The brushes are pretty big. Made with CS2 and perfect for print and collages.
