USA BAP ( Bear Ass Oress)-The deputy press secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security,Office of Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., Brian J. Doyle, was arrested Tuesday for using the Internet to seduce a 14 year old girl.
Doyle, of Silver Spring, Md., had a sexually explicit conversation with 14-year-old girl whose profile he saw on the Internet on March 14, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. The girl was really an undercover Computer Crimes detective. He used the Internet to send "hard-core pornographic movie clips" to her,a recent HS staff photo and also used an America Online instant-messaging service to have explicit online conversations with her." The investigation revealed that the phone numbers given to the detective were in fact Doyle's, and that the AOL account was registered to him," police said.
On March 27, a judge in Polk County, Fla., viewed the evidence and found probable cause to believe the material sent over the Internet by Doyle was harmful to minors. On March 28, prosecutors issued the following warrants: seven counts of using a computer to seduce a child and 16 counts of transmission of harmful material to a minor.
Doyle's attorney, Jack F Blueston, from the law offices of Chadwick, Langer and Blueston have issued a statement claiming that Doyle was under the belief that she was 41, not 14 years of age as the Polk Sheriff's have lead the public to believe. He further stated, " My client is innocent. Yes, he was online and having a cyber relationship with this woman. However, he believed she was 41. There are extenuating circumstances in this case. First of all, it was in the privacy of his own home and second Mr Doyle suffers from a learning disorder marked by impairment of the ability to recognize and comprehend written words called dyslexia. He sometimes see's words and letters backwards. He qualified with this imapairment to hold his esteemed postion with HS. I intend to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt my client is innocent and this is a political ploy to draw attention to Google's search engines recent strong hold."
The question still remains as to how many 14 year old girls are attracted to caucasion red faced middle aged men in black suits. Time will tell if Brian J. Doyle is a sexual stalker or a misunderstood dyslexic.
