History

Daniel Dessinger grew up in Bedford, Texas, a small town between Dallas and Fort Worth. At the age of 18, Daniel had a supernatural encounter that led him to Jesus. He gave his heart and life to the Lord, and began regularly attending his family’s church. Shortly after, Daniel began a nine month church-based School of Discipleship shortly after to establish a Christ-like foundation in his life.

Education

Daniel attended two local community colleges until transferring to Dallas Baptist University to major in English. While at DBU, Daniel was a member of the Pew Honor Society and was President of the local Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society. He also spent one semester abroad studying literature, art, and philosophy in Copenhagen, Denmark before graduating with an BA in English from DBU.

Writing

Daniel is a writer at heart, who found an entrance into web marketing shortly after college. He owns more blogs than he can adequately manage, simply because his interests are so diverse. Web marketing has taken him on a lengthy sabbatical from writing, and he longs to return to writing for writing’s sake in the near future. In the meantime, he’s developed a reputation in the Dallas / Fort Worth area as a leading web marketing consultant.

Some of Daniel’s favorite authors include Kris Valloton, Bill Johnson, Robert Jordan, C. S. Lewis, Shakespeare, T. S. Eliot, Lord Byron, John Keats, Wallace Stevens, Anne Tyler, Barbara Kingsolver, Walker Percy, Hans Christian Anderson, Soren Kierkegaard, Rene Descartes, and Martin Heidegger.

Career

Daniel joined MarketNet in 2008 to become their senior search specialist. He has been an active member of DFW Interactive Marketing Association (DFWIMA) and DFW Search Engine Marketing Association (DFWSEM), though time doesn’t permit him to attend as often anymore. When time allows, he teaches corporate executives, small business owners, and laypeople about the benefits of blogging, social media marketing, SEO, and reputation management.

At home, Daniel spends most of his time with his wife and daughter. Family comes first, which is why he responds to a limited number of RFPs.

Ministry

Daniel currently serves on the prophetic ministry teams at Wellspring Church (Dr. Jack Deere is pastor). He loves seeing people’s hearts melt when they experience the love of the Father through words of knowledge, words of wisdom, and prophetic utterances. It brings great joy to his heart.
