About Me
I’d love to share with you a little about me…
Ever since I was a little girl I loved to decorate! I remember Saturday mornings doing chores around the house and cleaning my room was required! Although, I can’t say that dusting and vacuuming was fun…by any stretch…I did enjoy rearranging the top of my dresser. I would place a white runner down first and then line up my perfume bottles, lip glosses and nick- knacks. I would center my jewelry box, and dust off my lamp with the pink glass shade. I had fun making my room look special, and I believe my passion for making my environment look pretty started at a young age.
My love for decorating continued all through the years, and when I was in High School my art teacher told me I should consider studying Interior Design. I decided to pursue my creative passion and earned my Bachelor’s degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for Interior Design. I worked in that field for about 10 years before giving it up to pursue my new passion…raising my two children. It was when Margo was about 4 and Fisher was almost 2 that I went to my first home decor party. I really had no intention of purchasing much, I was most looking forward to getting out of the house and having some adult conversation. There is only so much purple dinosaur a mommy can take for one day! It was at that party that my creative juices started flowing! I remember purchasing a glass hurricane…a WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES AWAITED! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! I could envision changing it out for the seasons, For the Fall I could fill it with mini pumpkins and gourds, that I could pick up at my local Amish farm stands, for Christmas I could add mini decorative red and green Christmas ornaments and tie a wired red ribbon to the base or simply add some cranberries and a white pillar candle. For the Spring and Summer I had ideas too…I couldn’t wait!
At that party I saw more then just a glass hurricane I wanted… so I decided to book a party and get my favorites for FREE! After all, we were a one income family and it would be hard to convince my husband that I simply “NEEDED” all these pretty things for our house! After much consideration and a bit of hesitation, I decided to make that party my launch party and give direct sales a try. I am so glad I did! At my party, we had so much fun and 7 of my girlfriends decided to book their own party! I was off to a great start with direct sales… the rest is history!
Today I am celebrating almost 7 years in the direct sales business selling HOME DECOR and I love it! I have been rewarded with 12 all expense paid trips, have contributed substantially to my family income, have decorated my home for FREE and have met the most amazing women all across the country! People often ask me how I have found the parties, and how I continued with such success…my reply…”work hard, lead with integrity, and provide the best customer service possible”. It’s not hard, when you love what you do!
