Some time ago we shared with you the cover shot of Josh Hutcherson on the March issue of Nylon Guys Magazine. Now thanks to Just Jared we have a quick peek into the accompanying article.
On his love for “The Hunger Games” books: “I tore through them in like five days – I loved it. And I loved Peeta. It was scary to me how much I connected with Peeta. He had this belief that no matter what circumstances you’re put into, you maintain being true to yourself, and that’s one of my golden morals. In this business especially, you have a lot of opportunities to be fake. When Peeta goes into the games, he’s not going to let it change who he is. And I’m going into the game of the acting world, and I’m not going to let it change who I am.”
On lending support to Straight But Not Narrow: “To have a ‘manly man guy’ come out and say, ‘Yeah guys, being gay is totally cool,’ I think this is getting the message out there that it makes you more of a man to be comfortable with who you are and what you believe in.”

Josh Hutcherson stunned the twitter world earlier today…he tweeted! Not once, not twice, but four times! This marks his first tweet since August of 2010 and is probably the cause of several near heart attacks.
Josh is currently in Paris promoting Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and The Hunger Games. Let’s just hope Paris inspires him to tweet a few more times!

The Summit/Lionsgate merger is really starting to show now. In a new article with THR, Lionsgate motion picture group co-chair Rob Friedman talks more about the merger and the Twilight Saga. It looks like the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 trailer will appear before The Hunger Games movie.
Lionsgate executives on Friday did much to talk up the synergies between the two studios now that the brain trust behind the Twilight franchise is at work on the launch of the next possible vampire flicks franchise once The Hunger Games debuts next month.
For example, the Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer will debut on every Hunger Games print on its theatrical opening on March 23 – Lionsgate’s largest ever theatrical release.
Cross promotion will happen more often now that the they have merged. Is anyone excited about the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 trailer releasing before the Hunger Games?
Read the entire article at The Hollywood Reporter. It’s actually a really great read if you’re a Twilight fan.

We often get lots of fantastic suggestions for videos, artwork etc, that fans think we should check out. But a recent video cover of Lana Del Rey’s Video Games, entitled Hunger Games, has been showing up in our inbox several times a day since it was released on Monday. With that kind of buzz from the fandom, we thought it was the perfect video to feature in this week’s Airtime Assault.
The song was written and performed by Holly Laurent, with additional lyrics by Martin Wilson.

While attending the premiere for The Vow, Dayo Okeniyi (Thresh) spoke with The Hot Hits about what it feels like to be a part of something so anticipated as The Hunger Games film.
Dayo told thehothits.com, “It feels awesome and amazing. I feel privileged to be a part of this. I’m a fan of this movie; I’m a fan of the books, just like anybody else. I cannot wait for this thing to come out.”
He continued, “I’ve been having sleepless nights because I hope it does well. I hope we’ve created something that the fans are excited about and that they will get the same feeling that they had when they read the books you know. It’s such a beloved book, and I don’t want to be part of the crew that messed it up!”
