Biddeford's ArtWalk takes place on the Final Friday of the month, from 5-8pm, in various venues throughout downtown and in the mills.

Engine @ 265 Main: Interpretations: Two Takes on Nature, paintings and drawings by Biddeford Pool artist Gedy Moody and South Portland sculptor Jac Ouellette. FMI: feedtheengine.org

Heart of Biddeford @ 205 Main: See sample creations or create something for The Maine Reef Project, a satellite of the Worldwide Hyperbolic Reef created by Christine and Margaret Wertheim of the Institute for Figuring in L. A.

Felt artist Julie Yarborough will be offering Felting For Beginners during ArtWalk, for a $5 drop in fee. Starting with wonderful, warm wool fibers and adding a bit of water, soap and effort, we will create a small piece of felt or a felt ball with our two hands. Making felt is pretty close to doing magic when all is said and done. You start with fiber and walk away with a piece of fabric or a toy ball without using machines, glue or technology. This is a short demonstration, hands on workshop. Come join the magic of FELT with Julie Yarbrough. Class limit 10.

Slide show about the Maine Reef project and free basic crochet lessons will be offered.

Biddeford art student ceramic work will also be on display in the windows of the HoB.
