This bi-weekly blog is a peek into Colleen’s routine – not for its own sake – but in order to illuminate the kinds of choices a compassionate vegan makes on a regular basis. One week she may discuss the harvest from her garden or the local farmer’s market –how she prepared it, how it grows, what nutritional benefit it provides. Another week she may talk about being on the road – people she met, restaurants she ate in, conversations she had on the plane, advocacy opportunities she took advantage of. Yet another week might simply be about the daily cruelty-free products she uses in terms of make-up, hair care, and household cleaners. This is not just an opportunity to get to know your favorite vegan author/speaker better; it’s a way to illuminate the joys, benefits, and challenges of living compassionately and healthfully.

“If it tastes good, they will eat it,” says Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, and her recipes are proof positive that there is no dearth of flavor, texture, and pleasure in plant-based foods! Members enjoy a regular supply of NEW recipes developed by Colleen or recipes that have been created by talented contributors (Tami Wall, Amanda Mann, Cathy Fisher, Cadry Nelson) and tested and approved by Colleen. Recipes run the gamut of snacks, soups, stews, salads, sides, appetizers, main dishes, beverages, smoothies, and desserts.
