Melter Skelter

I took a detour out of Zombie Boy Comics and went for a little drive over to Addanac City where George Ford was kind enough to let me draw a guest strip for his fabulous comic strip. You can see it here.

Addanac City is the perfect title for George’s creation because it requires an entire city to contain all the interesting characters he has invented to reside there. There were so many good ones to choose from but first and foremost on my must-draw list was Hank Addanac, the mini minister of mayhem. I’m proud of how the strip turned out and happy that George let me visit his town for awhile.

The fine fellows over at TWXXD made a recent mention of yours truly with a very surprising and kind shout out in their latest podcast. TWXXD is an irreverent site crafted by brothers Brandon and Colin Oliver, which features TWXXD, a gag-a-week strip, MFOffice, and Talking With Toys, a photo montage long-form humor strip which tackles current events and gaming news. Also on the show was the incomparable Javis Ray of Legacy Control, a beautifully rendered, over the edge webcomic that chronicles that antics of three friends, Aggro, NiCad and Rabs. It’s about life, videogames, pop culture, and all things geeky. I highly recommend you visit these gentlemen and delve into their work.

Drewvis' Dog & Dave

Gentleman, musician, and artist extraordinaire, Drewvis recently published a step-by-step breakdown of his art process, going through each step of his creative procedure to get to a finished Droodle. It’s really interesting, you can check it out here. Drewvis is a multi-talented creator, his music can be found here, his delightful Droodles here, Cheddar Jones here and Dog & Dave here.

The Original Leaf Bandit

Here’s a pic of my pug, Pooj, amidst the last remnants of autumn leafiness. Pooj is the main inspiration behind Zombie Boy’s best friend, Gorr – they share many of the same traits to a fault. His habit of burying his muzzle under the leaves on the trail of a scent got me thinking of taking it one step further, and thus was born a Bandit. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, then this yuletide treasure featuring Beatrice by the talented Daniel Elliott! Daniel is the creator/writer/illustrator of the quirky fun superhero webcomic, The Superpower Union, a strip I highly recommend! If you love high-flyin’, heavy-partying multi-versal heroes, fightin’ felines, nearly invulnerable big green alien junior Union members, nefarious Doctors and their enormous city-leveling Abominations, and good old, average Joe comic book-lovin’ superhero groupies, this is the strip for you!
