Guest comic by Dan Long
by Philippa Rice on May 22, 2010 at 5:00 amPosted In: comic
There are some good moral messages in this guest comic. I think we can all learn something here. It was made by Mr Dan Long, the brains and talent behind Edmund Finney’s Quest to Find the Meaning of Life, which is an excellent comic, full of complete lunatics. It frequently makes me laugh my teeth out.
You know where we’re going now don’t you? Yeah, it’s the blog area. Or as I like to call it. The party area.

Ah ha ha ha!
Damn racists! Or shapists! Or whatever!
that was brilliant
What a picky restaurant, to only ban pencils with that particular haircut! Definitely something fishy going on here.
Absolutely brilliant!
Ahaha! Hilarious!!
just when Collin found his one sole mate…. poor man.
Aw I love it, Colin looks so cute!
Dan, nicely done! I just love panel 3′s art!
Beautiful! Nice work!
Colin looks a little slow in the first panel – which I love.
Spot on.
first i was like, why wouldnt they let in pencils (and thought the joke was the “differences”) until i got the “no smoking” idea! brilliant!
Awwwwwwwww they should get those fake cigarettes they sell @ the mall. XD
Smarticles!
Awesome!!! I laughed so hard!
By far the greatest guest comic this week. Dan is a great guy, everyone check out EQC, it’s really one of the better webcomics out there.
i love dan long’s art! It works so well here!
Finally, a restaurant that takes a stand against the “rat tail” that went out of style in the early 90′s
This is brilliant and hilarious! Good work, Dan!
genius hahaha
i love this one
I’m a huge fan of Edmund Finney’s Quest to Find the Meaning of Life, so this was really exciting! This strip, as well as all of My Cardboard Life, is epic win.
xD Great guest strip!!! It’s not too common too see this kind of humor in tv or movies, unfortunately.
Ha ha this is so funny, brilliantly done. I for one have been encouraged to fight for pencil rights. Especially at good restaurants. Next time I go I will take my pencils & smuggle them in in my pocket. Then when the waiters least expect it I will set them free to run amok
dont get it.
That’s a… *Sniffles* … terrible… *Sniffles again* … uh, friend story.
(On other circumstances, I would’ve said love story. But I personally think Colin and Pauline would make a cute couple)
too awesome
