Program
LTTD uses ICA methods of facilitation helping communities in Kenya and Tanzania to develop their own ways of alleviating the HIV/AIDS crisis in their midst. One such community is the Maasai of Il Ngwesi in northern Kenya. With the full participation of community leaders and run primarily by local youth, the project has successfully mitigated the devastating effect of HIV/AIDS.
The model developed in Il Ngwesi is now cited as one of the best approaches to HIV prevention in Kenya by Ministry of Health officials.
