Situated in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the natural burial ground at Rotherfield Greys forms part of a scheme of new native woodland planting on Grey's Green Farm.
The landowners are dedicated to planting young trees on land that was previously arable farmland and pasture for dairy cattle. Since 1985, more than 100 acres of new woodland have been planted, converting what was once an wildlife desert of more than 400 acres of cornfields into wildlife habitats with extensive public access.
Just two and a half miles west of Henley on Thames, the burial ground is located close to the Parish church of St Nicholas and the welcoming traditional pub, the Maltsters Arms.
