Rated-A Photo Competition
If you love taking pictures then this one is
tailor-made just for you. This February 6th 2012 will mark the very first rated
a photo competition, brought to you by A-volution
for the photographer in you. If you live in Indonesia, aged more than 18 years
and a grooming smoker, you are most welcome to join this photo competition. The
theme for the photo competition is TeknoArt;
an abbreviation for technology and art. Your interpretation for this theme
matters to us and we would love to see your techno-creative ideas; that’s why
we allow up to 3 entries for each participant. What's your interpretation of Transformation?
Evolution? Gradation? Those are the keywords for TeknoArt. It is up to you to decipher it photographically. It
doesn't matter what camera you use, as long as your photo is in line with the
theme.
Remember, the photos you submit must be your own
private property and it must not contain anything related with ethnicity,
religion and race, pregnant women, smoking, and things that appeal to children
such as toys and cartoons. On the other hand, our judgment will based on the
most visually appealing, original and self-explanatory photos. Two winners will
be chosen; ultimate winner by decision of Anton Ismael, and favorite winner
based on votes by majority members of rated a. If you're lucky, your photo will
be one of the five artworks that will be displayed in BeatFest this march 2012.
And don't forget the prizes! The jury winner will
get the ultra-slim macbook pro, will be picked by our very own contributor,
Anton Ismael and the audience award winner will get a canon Powershot G12
camera with high definition video feature. So what are you waiting for? Get
your camera ready and start embracing the photographer in you!

The big show from this two days event was the live music performance from local also international artists. We did a quick interview last nite with Bag Raiders (Chris Stracey and Jack Glass), at DIMENSIONS: Love Garage!
DailyWhatNot (DWN): What's your favorite party anthem?
Jack Glass (JG): Ohh, man..hmm..that's a good question. There's a DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangalter's track called Together.
Chris Stracey (CS): That's one of the best in the world.
DWN: And yours Chris?
CS: It probably had to be something similar maybe like Digital Love by Daft Punk, cause it has a crazy solo in the middle of it.
DWN: No Duck Sauce's Barbra Streisand?!
Bag Raiders: No Barbra Streisand, nooo..hahaha!
JG: I like that song but it's like hmm..i don't know.
DWN: So you guys are from Australia, do you watch Junior MasterChef Australia?
JG: Ehh, no. I saw the ads though.
DWN: It's a very popular show here.
JG: It's popular here?
DWN: Yeah.
CS: Junior MasterChef?
JG: Yeah, they have kids doing it.
CS: How old?
DWN: Like from 8 to 12.
CS: Wow!
JG: I hate MasterChef because i love eating and they have like chefs from all the good restaurants on the show, and after the chefs comes on the show, you can't get a table at their restaurants.
DWN: Hahaha!
