Fran Drescher Abducted By Aliens

Author: Sami  /  Category: Celebrity Gossip

spacer Actress Fran Drescher, known for her roles on ‘The Nanny’ and  ‘Happily Divorced’, claims she was abducted by aliens while in junior high. Speaking to the Huffington Post, Drescher, 53, says both she and her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson came into contact with the alien species.

Explaining the abductions, Fran said, “You know, it’s funny because Peter and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads.We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot”. Jacobson is a little sketchier on the incidents, claiming that Fran’s scar is likely to have come from a “drill bit” or is simply a burn. Drescher said, “I said to him, that’s what the aliens programmed us to think. But really, that’s where the chip is”. The actress’s representative is yet to make an official comment on the claims. Her news series ‘Happily Divorced’ was officially renewed for a second season in 2011 with TV Land ordering a further 12 episodes of the comedy, scheduled to begin airing on March 7, 2012.

The show is inspired by Drescher’s real-life marriage to Jacobson, who came out as gay after their divorce in 1999. The pair have since remained friends and are business partners.

Author: Sami  /  Category: Celebrity Gossip

spacer The latest star to turn shoe designer is actress Denise Richards – she’s helping create a pair of pumps to raise money for charity.

The money raised will all go to the Kidney Cancer Association.

The Scary Movie 3 star has followed in the footsteps of Jenny McCarthy, Kristen Bell and former Spice Girls singer Melanie Brown to team up with ShoeDazzle designers as part of the Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity.

Richards says, “Fashion has always been a passion of mine and I especially love shoes. What woman doesn’t love a feminine, yet sexy pump in her collection? Teaming up with ShoeDazzle to help a charity I admire and a cause that is particularly dear to me because of my mother provided an amazing opportunity to combine my passions.

“I decided to name the shoe after my baby Eloise because she has been such a blessing in my life.”

Harry Morgan (April 10, 1915 – December 7, 2011) a prolific character actor who is best known for his roles in “M*A*S*H” and “Dragnet,” died Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 96.

He starred as Pete Porter, in the situation comedy “Pete and Gladys” (1960-62), he played Officer Bill Gannon opposite to Jack Webb’s Sgt. Joe Friday in “Dragnet,” from 1967 to 1970. To millions of fans he was Col. Sherman T. Potter, commander of the 4077th M*A*S*H in Korea (1978-83).

In 1980 his received av Emmy Award as best supporting actor in a comedy series for “M*A*S*H”.

Mr Morgan played in more then 100 movies as sheriffs, loyal sidekicks, soldiers, thugs, police chiefs and judges. One of my favorites court room dramas he was Judge Mel Coffey in “Inherit The Wind,” the judge who presided over the fictionalized account of the 1925 Scopes “Monkey Trial” in Tennessee, where a young teacher was convicted of the crime of teaching the theory of evolution. What a role.

He was born Harry Bratsburg, in Detroit and grew up in Muskegon, Michigan. He made his professional acting debut in a production of “At Mrs. Beam’s” in Mount Kisco, N.Y., Morgan made his way to Hollywood in 1942.

It was once estimated that in one show or another, he was seen in prime time for 35 straight years.

Morgan is survived by his second wife, Barbara, whom he married in 1986, and three sons, Christopher, Charles and Paul, from his first marriage, to Eileen, who died in 1985; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His son Daniel predeceased him.
