Centro Legal’s core legal services provide counsel and advice, referral, brief services, and representation to 9,000 individuals and families each year. Services are provided through weekly or monthly clinics and with the support of five staff attorneys, over 25 pro bono attorneys, and dozens of volunteer law students and college students.

Tenants’ Rights Project
Promotes safe, stable, and healthy housing by helping people fight unlawful evictions, rent increases, and bad conditions.
- - Legal help for all aspects of the landlord-tenant relationship from the lease to the return of the security deposit
- - Legal advice for tenants who have received an eviction notice
- - Advocacy for repairs and to relief from uninhabitable housing
- - In pro per advice including the preparation of responses to unlawful detainers
- - Representation for lawsuits against slumlords

Workers’ Rights Clinic
Promotes lawful, fair, and safe working conditions and employment practices by helping low-wage workers defend against wage theft, discrimination, retaliatory termination, and wrongful termination.

Provides holistic immigration services for immigrant families on a long-term pathway to citizenship, and assists survivors of violence to obtain immigration relief. We provide consultation and will consider representation for the following matters:
