The Royal Parks is an executive agency of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
The Royal Parks purpose is:
'To manage the Royal Parks effectively and efficiently; balancing the responsibility to conserve and enhance these unique environments with creative policies to encourage access and to increase opportunities for enjoyment, education, entertainment and healthy recreation.'
We run a varied programme of activities and events to encourage outdoor recreation and public access. If you would like to run an activity in the park, it will need to meet these broad objectives. Commercial activity is tightly controlled, but we're keen to work in partnership to develop activities and events that encourage new groups and communities into the Parks.
