While design is currently my main focus, I have significant development experience with a variety of languages and enjoy working with video as well.

Designing a website is one of the few activities that puts me in what I consider a “Zen” state of mind. From personal WordPress blogs to Fortune 500, I’ve done it all. Unfortunately many of my latest designs I can’t legally show on this site, however here a few:
Development
I’m capable of programming in many languages, but here is what I enjoy working with:
HTML 5
The latest spec for HTML is a breath of fresh air – so many cool things have been enabled by HTML 5, we’ve merely begun to touch the surface. Expect great things for the future of HTML.
CSS 3
Rounded corners, multiple backgrounds, drop shadows, gradients – all kinds of fun things can now be rendered by the browser instead of using images and/or questionable code.
Javascript / jQuery
I absolutely love jQuery. It’s revolutionized what I’m able to do with a web page, and is changing the way I approach user experience (UX) design.

For larger projects I’m well versed in Codeignitor, a popular MVC framework for making complex websites and web apps. For smaller projects, I can whip up a simple CMS in no time.
