Basics of Aerial Arts w/ Irina, Sarah and Anny
This class covers the fundamentals of aerial silk (tissu), static trapeze, and hammock. We will encourage you to safely push your limits and gain kinestetic awareness. You will surprise yourself with what you can do in the air!  By the end of the series, students will have the technical ability to build their own routines.

Acrobatic Balance w/Chrissie & Garrett
In this class you will learn how to exercise and grow with a partner without weights or gym memberships.  Acrobatic Balance (acro for short) is a combination of yoga, acrobatics, and strength training.  It is a therapeutic practice that requires careful communication and intentional connection of partners.  Traditionally, one person, the base, supports the weight of the other, the flyer, in different positions.  However we encourage both partners to explore each role.  Prepare to build confidence, muscles, and mutual trust as both your body and mind become more flexible.  Bringing a partner is encouraged but not required.

Yoga for the Performer w/Knox
It’s a challenging vin/yin yoga class designed to add strength and flexibility for those of us who perform and want to expand what we can physically do. Non performers are welcome too! Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one, a water bottle, a smile, and prepare to sweat!

Playing With Circles w/Jenna
If you have some experience with a hula hoop this is a great opportunity to take your skills to the next level.  Not simply hooping around the waist, this series will explore hooping with the extremities, neck, contact hoop, and isolations.  This will be a great work out as well as practice with a classic flow-toy.

Capoeira w/Dave
Capoeira is a Brazillian art form that combines martial arts and dance.  With little to no contact between participants it is about finding the flow with your partner and reacting to each others movements.  It can be practiced as a dance, a game, or a round-robin competition.  Here students will explore the basic movements and concepts of this 400 year old art form.

Qigong Roots w/Garrett
Qi (or Chi, Ki, Prana, etc.) is the Universal energy that runs through all of existence.  In this 6 week study group we will explore our own energy fields, learning techniques to balance and cultivate a greater force within.  The many applications of Qigong with be touched upon including increasing health, prolonging life, healing others, martial arts, and enlightenment.  The ancient philosophy of this timeless practice needs to be connected to our modern lives in order to heal ourselves and our planet.

Meditation for Those Who Can’t Meditate w/Brick
