Visual Art Research

I started blogging as as a way to keep my head above water while studying at MaHKU,  the Graduate School of Visual Art and Design in Utrecht, the Netherlands in 2009 – 2010.

On graduation, I decided to keep on using this weblog as my external memory, my notebook. I write in order to collect my thoughts and as a way to store and retrieve stuff that I’ve seen, read and discussed.

This blog also documents my artistic activities, presented as experiments and games. New projects are to be found under the working on category, ideas for new projects are new sparks. The portfolio page offers a shortcut to some photo’s, drawings and video that are outcomes of the experiments I do.  

It might be fun to browse my brain through the taxonomy or the tag cloud. More traditional means of keeping au-courant with my brainwaves are to be found at the blog, the  archive and the index pages.  Enjoy!
