Football Manager Britain: The History and Tradition of Shared Passion & Excellence

FM-Britain is the home nation of Football Manager tactics.

Having been set up in 2005, the site has evolved from a small forum community to the premier place for tactical advice. On top of all that, we have one of the largest and most successful LLM communities outside the official Sports Interactive forums. We are now the top producers of Football Manager eBooks, and provide great value for money through our free and paid-for publications.

We have always looked to attract members from all over the Football Manager world. From those who post regularly at other sites to those who have simply bought the game and never even heard of “the scene” before. Our methods may seem unorthodox to many of the more traditional sites, but we’ve never been afraid to be different!

Quality content and discussion is what we have become famous for.

Our content is usually longer than the common article, but it is of the highest quality. Perhaps for these reasons, the average age of the admins is over 30, and our member base tends to be older than most other sites. There is also a distinct international flavour to our community. Though our post counts may be lower, the quality of those posts is much higher.

But age hasn’t made us boring! The off topic sections are still lively places, with plenty of back-and-forth between our members. The forums really are the best place to relax as well as to get answers to your burning questions. We are always eager to help. Just pop along to the discussion forums and ask. We’ll try to answer you as soon as possible. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll soon find someone who does!

Since FM2006, the site has developed its reputation around tactics, starting with the very first Tactical Theorems and Frameworks by Richard “wwfan” Claydon. For FM2008, the Tactical Think Tank was initiated to help research our Tactical Theorems and Tactical Bible articles for the main site. The reputation of our tactical guides has grown so large that in 2009, Richard was asked by Sports Interactive to help develop the new tactical interface for Football Manager 2010 and Football Manager Live. Many in our Think Tank are also part of SI’s Dream Team beta testers – so we are always in the loop with the latest developments in FM, and we pass on that information directly to you.

This year, as with every year, Tactical Theorems is available again as an eBook which you can download from this site. We will also be publishing further guides as the year progresses. Go right ahead and check out our latest titles and prices.

The site has been growing since 2005 and will continue to grow. Over the coming months we will be publishing more e-books, re-commencing our acclaimed podcasts, and regularly updating our site with the latest and most informative content. Check back often to see what’s going on here.

To make it easier for you to keep up to date and interact with us, you can follow us via Twitter and Facebook, interact with us on the forums, visit our YouTube channel, and subscribe to our newsletter.
