Areas: Habari | WordPress | Plan 9 | Developers | Utopian.net Blog
This is
Utopian.net's testbed, sandbox, and hodgepodge. We're
playing with ideas for efficiently extracting formless data from web
pages; unifying complex personal computing environments; and
investigating ways to improve the user interface to web
publishing.
We also work on vehicle dynamics simulation and data acquisition
(specifically for auto racing), research cluster systems for internet services, and provide
source, tools, and scripts for simplifying administration of systems
and networks.
Projects/Code
- Habari development: Themes, plugins,
and participation in the cutting-edge Habari
blogging software project.
- WordPress development: Code,
themes, plugins; including developer, friends and family
blogs on our WordPress µ proving
grounds.
- Plan 9 from Bell Labs: We contribute
to the open-source research system, and use it in our daily work.
- Developers' projects: We started
Utopian.net Labs to support interesting, relevant, and open-source
work applicable to our business. This section houses experiments
and projects we support with development tools and web space.
(Since the work of individual developers is their own, you should
check their page for info and contact them with questions or to
contribute.)
