The Well-read Naturalist publishes reviews of books on all of the fields of study that are grouped under the general category of natural history. We also review biographies of notable naturalists, works of fiction with significant elements of natural history in their story-line, nature-oriented poetry, and any other works that we think will be of interest to our readers. While we are based in the United States, our readership includes people from all around the globe, thus we do not limit our reviews to only those books published in the U.S. and are always pleased to discover and review new books being published anywhere in the world.
