ZOMG it's a bloggers bash

spacer
ZOMG, I don't think there have ever been this many bloggers all in one room! And it's all thanks to two of the loveliest ladies, ReeRee Rockette of Rockalily Lipsticks and Zoe of The London Lipgloss, but I'm guessing most of you already know that! We were all there to celebrate the amazing collaboration of these two ladies in creating ZOMG - the best-est, most pink-est  lipstick (and possibly my new favourite go to shade). I am truly honoured that I was invited and so so proud of Zozo for producing such a wonderful lipstick and achieving something so amazing (and well deserved)!

The event was held at The Distillers pub in London, it was a gorgeous venue and only just about big enough to fit us all! It was wall to wall with bloggers with lots of fun activities, including cupcake decorating, vintage hair and makeup and some dressing up too! We were all given some blogger bingo cards to complete whilst we were there, which meant trying to find bloggers/tweeters/non-bloggers who fitted certain criteria (hosting on wordpress, name beginning with a vowel, that sort of thing) and I think was a great idea to meet get us all to mingle. Like a lazy so and so, I didn't do the bingo card, I'm sorry Zoe I promise I mingled but I needed both my hands for drinking!!

Some more shots of the incredible venue, it's a game of spot-the-bloggers, 10 points for each one you can name!

We were also treated to some crazy burlesque shows from Rubyyy Jones and Banbury Cross, two very unique and interesting performers - who have may shocked me quite a bit! Sometimes I think I'm such a prude when it comes to nudity, but it was incredible to see their two takes on burlesque, and all the men peering in the windows certainly seemed to enjoy it!

It was then time for ReeRee and Zoe to draw the prizes for the bingo, which then had us naughty girls regretting that we didn't do it! There were some incredible prizes, theatre tickets, vintage makeup lessons, filming classes (perfect for budding You Tubers), there was something to suit pretty much anyone, especially if you like erotica hmmmm Meg? We also had to guess how many lip sweets were in a jar on the way in, you'll never guess who won... Yep, little old me! Like a boss, or perhaps a sweet addict, I was the closest guess so got to take home the jar of 'questionable' (i.e. minging) sweets and pick out a lipstick of my choice from the range. As I had already bought ZOMG (which should be available today) I had the hard choice of picking from all the other great shades. Cannot wait to get my little mitts on another Rockalily lipstick!

Liz and I trying out some of hats and wigs, whilst trying not to destroy the display too much... Well you can see here, I'm super awesome looking (best one is definitely the one with the veil)! But I think Liz definitely needs to go pink full time. Thank you Laura for snapping these supremely horrendous photos.

And here is the lipstick of honour! ZOMG is such a pretty shade right? I wore it all day yesterday and I am very impressed with it's staying power, and it is definitely the most moisturising lipstick I own, I may be biased but I did buy this with my own pennies and I am so happy that I did. I would liken the formula to MAC Creamsheen, but a not as drying. It's a definite must for any of you girls out there who suffer from really chapped lips (like me boooo). If anyone is interested I will do a full review of this lovely lipstick soon, I may wait for prize to arrive for a Rockalily love-a-thon.

I hope you enjoyed this post, once again I want to thank ReeRee and Zoe for putting together such an amazing and individual event. And hello to all the lovely ladies that I met on Monday, it was truly a pleasure and I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

It was indeed a really good night! I didn't know many bloggers when I arrived, but everyone was nice and it was interresting to talk to other bloggers!
