I have no new outfit pictures sooo i’m sharing a new purchase, well not so new, a month old. A different, special kind of brogue.

Once upon a time there was a girl that dreamt with Chanel. Not just Chanel bags or shoes but she was madly in love with all it represented: classic elegance, austere style and women that value timeless above trends. Now that  love for Chanel developed into a small collection of shoes but her real big love was the most timeless piece of Chanel, the very one classic flap bag. She decided it would be her very best investment to date, so she saved and saved and eventually got it.

What can I say, finally I purchased a work of art. Medium classic flap silver hardware in caviar.

PS. I’m sorry for not answering comments but as i’ve said before these days I hardly have time to post, but I will get to it asap, promise!

This was a totally unexpected buy. I was planning to invest on swimwear and maybe some jewelry from the sales round 2 (only thing I can find my size when sales are at such an advanced stage) but I was not really feeling anything that was left, and in one of my running errands downtown trip I ended up falling in love with this pair of sandals and best of all they were on extra sale! Of course I couldn’t resist and got them. Finally I have a pair of shoes that is not black or nude, it is a bit more challenging, but  you know what? I like challenge!

I’m not a big fan of purchases pictures, but I don’t have new pictures and I can’t go and shoot outside because it’s raining so this is what i’ll post today, my most recent buy. I was in an horrible need for sandals, me being more of a ballerina/brogues girl I spent the last two summers without buying any sandals because I did not like any single pair available to me. These year that changed finally! Ever since I saw these Phillip Lim girls appear on various online stores on March I new I had to have them. Bad thing they sold out everywhere almost immediately, and when I had lost hope lucky me I find them available in my size! So here they are, my new sandals.

La verdad es que no me gusta mucho el rollo de las fotos de compras, las prefiero en modelitos, pero no tengo mas fotos y hoy con la lluvia tampoco esta como para salir y hacerlas. Llevaba años necesitando un par de sandalias para el verano, ya que los últimos 2 veranos no me compré ni un solo par, porque no encontré ni un solo par que me gustara, así que tan contenta me quedé con mis bailarinas y mocasines. Este año decidí que esto tenía que acabar. Desde que vi este par de sandalias de Phillip Lim en varias tiendas online allá por Marzo me enamoré de ellas completamente, pero rápidamente se acabo el stock en absolutamente todos los sitios. He tenido muchísima suerte de toparme con un par en mi talla, finalmente! Así que ni me lo pensé y aquí están!

Meet my new lovely shoes, the perfect pair of flats! I can’t believe how i got so lucky ,there were only 2 pairs left and one was my size!  I was looking to buy new pair of shoes, because even though i’m a shoe person it has been a really long time since i have purchased a pair of shoes, nothing out there that i really liked and that was really worth it. So while i wait for the new Resort and SS 2011 shoes to arrive at stores i got myself these babies! They remind me a bit of a beautiful pair of Comme Des Garçons flats, very childish and very sweet as well. Tomorrow i’ll post pictures of them in an outfit. These lovely flats are from Topshop.
