Curtis Kulig x OBEY – “Love Me” Project

Once in awhile, we’ll post something about LOVE, even if it’s not directly related to Toronto. In this case, artist Curtis Kulig (of the famous “Love Me” tags) and Shepard Fairey (of the OBEY campaign) have come together to create a limited-edition line of clothing for both men and women. The “Love Me” Project is a part of the 2012 Spring/Summer OBEY catalog, and is now available online.

Elicser – “Know Love”

Uplift

Uplift is a Canadian non-profit organization founded by Rima Neverland and Alex Westgate. Their initiative is to make the world a better place through the power of art. With the help of photographers, illustrators, designers, and fine artists who donate pieces of work, they raise money for a variety of good causes. So far, they’ve worked with World Vision Foundation, in order to raise funds for the famine in the Horn of Africa.

People For Good – “Pregnant”

Get to know Toronto’s very own Yabu Pushleberg design firm, or read the exclusive recipe editorial with Hachiro Michael Fujise and Masaru Ogasawara of Toronto’s GUU Restaurant. Plus, there’s an interview with Rob Rossi about his long awaited restaurant Bestellen, as well as an essay about Toronto’s cocktail scene from The Harbord Rooms‘ David Mitton.

TA-ZE In Toronto

Toronto’s latest TA-ZE store, at 120 Adelaide Street West, was designed by Toronto-based Burdifilek, led by managing partner Paul Filek, and creative partner Diego Burdi. They managed to take a small 800 square foot space and turn it into an open, organized place of business. TA-ZE is a chain of retail stores focusing on premium olive oils and related products.
