About Me

 

spacer I am an ambitious energetic and dedicated individual; my passion is enabling others to realise their potential in health and fitness.  When I train clients as a personal trainer my aim is always to ensure clients reach their desired goals. This is achieved through developing tailored programmes, using my professional knowledge and skills which I have developed working in the industry for over 20 years.  

I offer a complete lifestyle package including – personal training, the fundamentals of good nutrition, core strength, circuit based training, kettlebell workouts, strength and conditioning for athletes, and weight management – to mention a few – where and when it suits you. I am based in Finaghy, Belfast. 

I pride myself on putting the ‘personal into personal training. Throughout your program I will be with you every step of the way, motivating and helping you to achieve your goals.

Qualifications: REPS Level III Advanced Instructor. I am qualified to level III, and registered with Reps as an exercise professional holding qualifications in Advanced Fitness Instruction, Optimum Sports Nutrition, GP Referral, Advanced Kettlebells, Strength and Conditioning and programme consultancy for exercise.  I also teach group exercise classes in Bodypump, Indoor Cycling, TRX Suspension Training, Circuits, Performance Boxing, Core Stability and Kettlebells.

What is REPS? The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) has been set up to help safeguard and to promote the health and interests of people who are using the services of exercise and fitness instructors, teachers and trainers.

The Register uses a process of self-regulation that recognises industry-based qualifications, practical competency, and requires exercise professionals to work within a Code of Ethical Practice. Members of the Register are given a card and registration certificate to prove their qualification and membership.

Also known as the Exercise Register it operates in the UK and across the world to recognise personal achievement and competencies of qualified exercise professionals.

spacer  Achievements- Recently I have been advising local television presenters on leading a healthier and fitter lifestyle. I have appeared several times on UTV’s SevenThirty show and have been working with Marc Mallet to assist him in achieving his fitness goals.

Working in Queen’s University PEC for 3 years, I have gained solid experience in taking many Classes and am currently their Resident Personal Trainer.  I am also running three successful Kettlebell workout classes in the local community centre, and I also run a Kettlebell Bootcamp over the summer months

Training and Wellness Proficiency : Areas I have developed expert knowledge in, Strength Training, Nutrition, Core Strength, Kettlebells, and Body Fat Reduction.

Although I work in Queen’s PEC as their resident personal trainer I also work privately, so you are not required to be a member of Queen’s PEC should you wish to avail of my services.
