Exploiting Methods of Ore Deposit

3) Other methods. As for those ore deposits of special preserving condition such as placer deposit, ocean ore deposit and so on, hydraulic mining, it can adopt water conservancy mining, dredge mining, ocean mining or chemical mining and so on.

Properties of Ores and Rocks

For the objects of open-pit mining are ores and rocks whose properties influence the mining work to a great extent. Properties of ores and rocks include many things while the ones that directly influence mining are:

1) Caking property. Ores and rocks after explosion contain clay, talc or other viscous particles, they will cake together at a certain time if they are wet or pressed. 2) Property of oxidizability. Sulfide ores will become oxidized ores by the effect of water and air so as to reduce the performance of recovering index of beneficiation.

3) Property of water-bearing. It is the property of ores and rocks sucking and keeping water. Watery rocks will easily cause side slope’s sliding in soil discharge place and influence soil discharge work much.

4) Ratio of puff. It is the volume ratio of the mined ores and rocks and the whole volume.

5) Volume weight. Weight of ores and rocks in unit. The unit is N/m3.

6) Hardness. The hardness degree of ores and rocks. It directly influences explosive work.

7) Stability. It is the property that ores and rocks will not fall under a certain exposure and a certain of time.

1.Jaw liner holding plate: This plate holds jaw liner in position. Disc springs are used for clamping this plate to take care of expansion of jaw plates.
2.Cheek plates: These cheek plates are made out of abrasion resistant materials. They are fixed to the sides of the main body to protect it from wear.
3.Main body: The main body is a heavy, one piece frame fabricated of rolled steel plates. The structure is properly ribbed and welded after proper edge preparation. The entire body is stress relieved before machining.
