Envision Skate Collective seeks out skilled craftsmen from around the nation who produce outstanding handmade skateboards. Builders are required to meet demanding criteria before being selected to share their work with the world through our store.

First, for a potential builder to join the Collective, they must be creating boards that are excellently designed and well made. We are intent on discovering those that fashion functional, beautiful boards from a variety of materials for a variety of riding styles – builders who are solid in foundational skills but always experimenting with new ideas in search of the next great design. Our builders are driven and creative; they are artisans working in that elusive medium known as stoke, always striving to elevate the standard to which all other boards are compared.

Second, potential members of Envision Skate Collective must be prepared to consistently ship these boards on time. Before bringing them on board, we work with each builder to determine what kind of production load they can handle, then use this information to make sure each order will be received in a clearly communicated and reasonable time frame. We’re not afraid to put a pause on new orders when demand for a particular model catches up to a builder’s capacity for creation, because just as much as we care about helping our builders grow, we also care about our responsibility to the community of supporters that keeps our builders going.
