Yidi is not particularly fond of the name Yidi, but a lifetime of mispronunciations is unlikely to endear a name to anyone. Unfortunately, it has since become apparent that neither the alias Kiriska nor the shortened alias Kiri are all that easy for people to figure out either. To make up for it, Yidi will answer to all of above and a score of other things, including various popular mispronunciations and “hey, you” (oh ho! A pun!). Except Yoda. She refuses to answer to Yoda.
Yidi tells people that she’s from the Internet. This usually invites laughter, but hey, it’s where she spends most of her time. Physical location changes frequently, prompting an annoyingly long list of mailing addresses, and a distinct lack of identification with any one place. But the Internet is everywhere. And there, she lives.
In her spare time, Yidi compulsively folds paper cranes and watches cartoons and writes and draws and draws and writes.
