I have been venturing a bit into Irezumi and Hokusai for a clients draft of a half-sleeve tattoo. I am not going to ink it into his skin, so I am really, really curious how it will turn out in the end. I’ve uploaded some in progress shots here.

I tried to merge some ideas from a personal mythological project (for practice) with the exhibition’s theme, hence the border full of ghosts and creatures. Thaaanks!!

sleeping beauty

I just finished this “sleeping beauty” piece for an exhibition of some sort. We, a couple of friends, were planning on having a limited run of high quality archival prints, and selling them in various spots. No idea if this is gonna work out, hehe.
After seeing this ass-kicking piece from bluefooted I feel kinda bad about posting this. Erin, this piece of yours kicks so much ass. Your way of combining drawing and painting is just wonderful. Wow.
