About User Journeys

Established in 2003 in Galway as Heraghty Internet Consulting (sole trader), the business became User Journeys Ltd in March 2011.

User Journeys is located in East Point Business Park, Dublin 3.

Michael Heraghty, MD

spacer Michael Heraghty has been designing websites since 1995, when he published Ireland’s first e-zine, ‘The Buzz’.

Before founding Heraghty Internet Consluting in 2003, he worked as Web Design Manager with Vision.com.

Michael has lectured on usability/SEO for the IIA, the DMI, NUI Maynooth, Trinity College and the IMI.

In 2004, Michael published a book about SEO, entitled Website Findability.

Ciaran Higgins, Business Development Executive

spacer Ciaran joined User Journeys in March, 2011.

Energetic and always motivated, Ciaran ceaselessly strives to put himself in the customer’s shoes.

  • Commercial Manager at Dublin Chamber of Commerce
  • Executive at Irish Software Assocation

 

Hemant Budhivant, Senior User Experience Analyst

Based in London, Hemant has over 12 years of design experience in multidisciplinary fields such as conceptualization, interaction and interface visualisation.

More recently, he has 5 years of core user experience research work, including

  • Planning and conducting usability evaluations
  • Remote and field-based usability testing using both quantifiable and qualitative scientific research methods
  • High-to-low level task modelling
  • Competitor analysis
  • Paper sketches, wire-frames and cloud-based prototyping
  • Evaluating & measuring UX with a range of evaluation methods and tools

Lisa Armstrong, Visual Designer

Lisa joined User Journeys in March, 2011.

Lisa has worked in graphic design and, previously, textile design since 1998.

A truly multi-media designer, Lisa has excellent content and audio skills — and still presents her own radio show every Friday and Saturday nights on Dublin’s Q102.
