Lucas Rocha

Author. I’m a Brazilian guy from Salvador, Bahia. I live in the rainy lands of England with my lovely wife Carol and our little daughter Julia. Music lover, jazz aficionado. Former drummer of Pretutu and percussionist of Paroano Sai Milhó.

Work. I’m a software developer working on Firefox Mobile at Mozilla. Formerly, I worked for litl on the development of the webbook, a cloud-based computer for the family. Before that, I worked at Nokia implementing some of the primary UI components of the Maemo-based internet tablets, such as the N810.

I’m a long-time GNOME contributor where I have taken several leadership roles such as GNOME Foundation director, Release Team member, and software maintainer. My current pet project is The Board. For further information about my work, have a look at my LinkedIn profile.
