About

Hello!

I learned how to embroider when I was 8 years old, and was presented with a long-stitch kit for a birthday present. From that moment, my appetite for needle work has been insatiable, and I often have multiple projects on the go at any given time! I love the feel, smell and vibrancy of all forms of needlework, and spend my spare time reading about techniques, needlework history and catching up with my projects.

Being a 20-something year old embroiderer, it is hard to find people who relate to my interests, and I often attend embroidery and quilting groups with ladies who are much older than me. I see this as a huge bonus – I am surrounded by strong, creative women who are often more than happy to teach me their techniques, offer their opinions on my work and tell me all about how they got involved in the world of stitching.

I feel very lucky to have found my passion early in life, and have a dream to spend my days surrounded by needlework!

If you want to get in touch with me, share a joke or just say hello,  please contact me.
