As someone who spends a lot of time focusing on God’s creation, I try to record the beautiful detail I see in photography, and my work as a designer. I know how images and wording can inspire us, and bring us joy, hope and peace.

As part of my Wednesday inspiration series, I will be sharing images and quotes that I have found on my journey that has encouraged me in my walk with Jesus. As we reach the middle of the week, Wednesday can often be a difficult day for many, so let’s change that and praise God for another opportunity to grow in our relationship with Him.

A few years ago, I helped out on a Brownie day out to the Isle of Wight. In the past I had been in a boat in rough seas, but nothing had prepared me for what I experienced on our return journey home that day. We were in a smallish boat that carried about a hundred people. The trip was only going to take a couple of hours, but for those hours I had to grip onto my Lord with all my might.

I read an interesting post by a friend of mine, who talked about the impact that butterflies had made on her, while she attended two funerals. Both times she saw a butterfly flying around the church, which caught her eye.
