I am Roy, a 42 years old widower from Angeles City, Philippines. I am The Struggling Blogger, like what I’m always saying, I am struggling in more ways than one. But in these times, who isn’t struggling?
When my wife finally went home in the early part of 2008, I turn to blogging to keep me company. Blogging to me is a therapy and somehow has helped me keep my sanity in those lonely times. Honestly, I haven’t gotten over it yet, I don’t think I ever will be.
Unfortunately, life has to go on.
And as The Struggling Blogger, I started exploring the blogosphere. I have gone out of my comfort zone and became bolder by reaching out to other blogs.
Newly found blogger friends has kept me company in this wide kingdom called the blog.
Going in and out of blogging since 2004, it became a full time habit for me in 2008. While some might call it an addiction, blogging for me is a way of life. Take away blogging from me and I’m a zombie – a walking dead.
I still have a lot to learn, that is if I want to struggle less in monetizing my blog. Other than that, I really don’t care what I still don’t know about blogging. I know I’ll be able to stumble and learn about them in future anyway.
This is my new home… as I continue in my struggles… in life and in my blogs.
