We’re back with pavilions again today, although we would be the first to confess that the difference between some of these pavilions and gazebos is subtle at best.

It’s the Orchard Pavilion that’s featured here, and of all the models we’ve come across so far, the Orchard has, by far, the most bewildering array of choices.

For example, there are:

• four different styles to choose from: single-roof wood, single-roof steel frame, single-roof all steel, and double-roof wood
• 14 different sizes, although not all of the styles are available in all of the sizes.

The Orchard Pavilion is also the last of the hexagonal pavilions that we’ll be looking at (for now, at least).

The easiest way to demonstrate to you the great variety that’s on offer, together with the very different looks you can achieve, is to show you a sampling of these Orchard Pavilions.

Although there are a few versions that look like traditional gazebos, most of the models in the Orchard range seem to be more geared towards commercial or public use, as you will see from the following photos. And to save you a bit of time in working out which models come in which sizes, we’ve summarised that information for you here:

One of the features that makes the Orchard Pavilion so strong is the unique system of rafters, purlins, and brackets that are used.

The actual size of the rafters will depend on the size of the pavilion, and the need to meet local codes (e.g. for snow and wind), but the end result is a strong and attractive ceiling. The photo at the right shows the roof system for a double roof model, with the customers’ installed lighting and fan.

So, if you’re looking for a pavilion for your sports club, company, park, school, or whatever, then we don’t doubt that you’ll find a version of the Orchard Pavilion that’s exactly what you need.

On the other hand, if you just want a small gazebo/pavilion for your garden, then the smaller models, such as the one shown to the left (which is the 12 x 12 ft single-roofed wood model), look beautiful.

However, if you have the space, then we’d recommend our favourite, which is the 30 x 30 ft double-roofed wood pavilion (which is the one featured at the top of this page).

   I think this are the most opulr gazeebos I have seen in Spain. They are used for playing musis with small orquestras. I think they are more suitable for public places than for home!

   One of the things I like about traveling through Minnesota along the Mississippi River is all of the little towns with parks in the centre of town & pavillions like your featured Orchard Pavillion.

   We have one of these pavilions in our downtown. This is where they have music in the park. Without the pavilion it wouldn’t have the great feel it has.

   This orchard pavilion at the top of the page is beautiful! I love to see them in parks and that is why, I can imagine one would like one in their own garden – they bring such a beautiful comforting feel to any ambience they are in.
