Seaward is an 82’ classic staysail schooner built in 1988 for both comfortable charters in protected waters and for rigorous offshore sailing. She is annually inspected and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard as a passenger vessel for voyages up to 200 miles offshore from Alaska to Panama. She has the highest possible stability rating — for exposed waters — and has a smooth and comfortable motion.
August 30, 2005 - Schooner “Seaward” is in the Bay! After the successful passage from Boston to San Francisco, Call of the Sea’s new schooner is ready to provide Bay area residents with many sailing opportunities. There’s nothing like getting out on the water to appreciate our unique resources here in San Francisco Bay!
