I’m not a big purse girl but this one is so delicate that I just had to share it! Sir Tom, an Australian artist, turns photographs into gorgeous purses. In this case, you can take orange palm trees with you wherever you go! Wouldn’t you like to take a vacation with you on your errands?

My name is Elle. I am a 25 yr old single mum who has always been creative but only got in the world of craft and handmade in 2009 after bub was born. It has since consumed my life and become my work and passion.
Two great businesses are now in the one location so if you come in you can find fresh contemporary fabrics, and both new and vintage buttons and trims from Pompom Rouge. My store Buy Hand stocks unique handmade products from around Australia, including Bespoke and I am very excited to say we soon also be stocking Epheriell Jewelry!
Oh that’s a bit like asking a mother of 3 to pick a favorite child. . .but if I had to come up with something it would be the beautiful Helveticus Bags we stock. These are handmade in Switzerland by a small family of cobblers. Each bag is made of original Swiss Army blankets that have been stockpiled for up to 100 years, but never used. Even the leather comes from belts and straps – only the hardware (zips etc) are new.
I love unique and quality products that have been handmade. Past that there is no restriction – at the moment I am just working on stocking some organic skin care products. I am keen to support anything small and independent too, such as zines, books and musicians. Its all about the little people really.
Vintage, colorful and eclectic. If I had four words I would say coffee too because we drink an awful lot of it.
As I mentioned, I am lucky enough to share my shop with another crafty business, Pompom Rouge and its very talented owner Kirsty. We love working together and would be thrilled if you stopped by and say hello. We are located in Blackwood Strreet, in Townsville’s city centre.
You can also buy our yummy products online at www.buyhand.com.au. Be sure to keep stopping by because I will be adding more products all the time over the next few months.
Thanks for being a *bespoke* stockist, Buy Hand!
