What are the most exciting parts of this blog?
Every Tuesday, I write a Tip Tuesday blog post, sharing a new crochet technique to make your crochet life easier! |
On Wednesdays, I write a ‘Work in Progress Wednesday’ post, sharing with you what I’m currently working on. On Friday, I follow it up with a ‘Finished Object Friday’ post, showing you what I’ve finished that week! |
I write regular Crochet Buzz posts… a summary of the latest news and happenings in the world of crochet! It’s a great time to get lots of crochet scoop all in one place! |
I give the Shiny Hook award to bloggers that share an awesome crochet tip or tutorial. If you’re looking to learn a new technique and expand your horizons, you’ll want to follow these links! |
I review knitting and crochet books and products! Click here to read my most recent reviews! I also interview lots of awesome designers, yarn producers and artists… you’ll want to stay tuned to read all about it! |
Boring stuff: All of the opinions contained in this blog are my own. I occasionally receive books/merchandise to review free of charge (and I reveal that fact in the blog post), but I do not guarantee a positive review of the item. Every statement is my honest and personal opinion. I use Amazon Affiliate links on this blog.

I am trying to make Jacques the Gorilla, but have never in my life read instructions “ch tog next 2 sts.” Is that a new form of decreasing. How do you doit? I hav e been crocheting for 60+ years and I am stymied by this.
Thanks. -

Hi Priscilla!
So sorry about the confusion! The ‘ch 2 tog’ is the same as the ‘sc2tog’… it was the abbreviation I used in my earlier patterns. (For the whole story, read this blog post)
Hopefully, that gets you back on the right track!
