Round 'em up, boys. Photo: Jeff Hickman

We’ve added quite a few expert rainbow trout rigs to our blog over the past couple of months, so we figured it was time to round ‘em up.

Our expert rig roundups are some of the most popular pages on our web site.  Basically, we give you a handy way to look through the approaches that different expert anglers take when they set up their gear to go fishing.  The roundup that started it all was our King Rig Roundup – focused on spey fishing for king salmon in Alaska.  Next came our Steelhead Rig Roundup – two-handers again, but this time focused on Dean River chrome.

Now we present you with the Alaskan trout rigs used by some pretty righteous anglers.  Read on!
