 Jaldevi won 1st place in the concours d'elegance at the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta 2008 and was also awarded a Special Mention by the Jury for seaworthiness.  She continues to be maintained in similar condition by her full time captain.

Jaldevi is a very well maintained classic wooden schooner, fully equipped with the latest safety systems to enable long distance cruising in comfort.  She is easily handled by two and is often single handed by her captain.  Her navigation systems are superb, equally at home classic racing or blue water sailing.  With a powerful main engine, and electric windlass, twin speed bronze winches she is easy to handle.   She has a very light and open plan interior can accommodate seven with one double berth (7' long) and five singles.  She has a superb generator, high capacity watermaker and a high pressure fresh water system; with her quality entertainment system and fully equipped galley, she is a very comfortable yacht.  She is a classic on the outside but a modern, easily sailed and comfortable home inside.
