A Girl can Never Have too Many Pillowcases…

My search for charming vintage pillowcases has begun! If you know of anyone looking to donate faded (mostly) floral pillowcases, please point them in my direction. I’ll be scouring the Internet and thrift stores for options in the meantime. This week I plan to construct canvases with the pillowcases I already have, and by next week hopefully I will be able to start illustrating. Please spread the word and let your friends know that I’m accepting dream submissions on the Submit a Dream page and Twitter account! Welcome to Bedside Sketches!

Hello and thanks for stopping by “Bedside Sketches,” my year-long artistic journey into the subconscious! Every week for one year, I will be creating dream-inspired illustrations on vintage pillowcases. Friends, family and online readers are invited to share their dreams with me by visiting the Submit a Dream page or messaging the series’ Twitter account and providing me with detailed information. This blog will act as a vehicle for visual storytelling, where my illustrations will be on display with brief summaries about the dream.
