new home.
Sorry for my lack of posts in the last week and a half! Not only have I been really sick but I've been moving as well, and the internet still hasn't been set up at my new place. There are still a few more things to finish, but I am already loving my new home in Mount Pleasant! Here I am wearing one of my favourite vintage sweaters that I actually bought at a sale in this area a couple years ago.
one year anniversary!
Thanks to everyone who has been following my blog and making this so exciting for me. I can't believe it's already been a year! Happy Monday :)
stripes and dots.
I found these pictures taken last week that I was going to post but forgot about them. I've fallen sick for the first time in a while, and at the worst time possible as well since I'm moving from the West End to Mount Pleasant and the last thing I can do right now is pack. I'm just bundled in bed, drinking hot tea and munching on all sorts of food while catching up on Top Chef.

Loving my new scarf from Club Monaco that I got from Ryan's parents this Christmas! I learned I can't wear it with my black jacket because it fluffs everywhere! But it definitely goes with just about everything else.

wolf circus.
A couple of days ago I received this gorgeous Rainbow Aura Crystal necklace from Fiona of Wolf Circus. What I love most about the necklace is the meaning behind the crystal (seen here), which makes it that much more special. It is a beautifully crafted piece that I have worn on more than one occasion since getting it, so expect to see it in the next couple of outfit posts. :)
Wearing Wilfred jacket, Le Fou by Wilfred shirt, Club Monaco scarf, American Apparel pants, BCBG booties. Michael Kors watch. Rings from Singapore and Nepal. Necklace from Wolf Circus. Picture #2 taken by Lily.

sunday brunch at house guest.
Alex, Lily, Peter and I had a nice Sunday brunch at House Guest, a new restaurant in Gastown. The dishes ordered at our table included the Croque Madame - basil & goats cheese bechamel, copa, tomato, hash cake, with a gruyere crust and a fried egg on top, as well as the Lobster Cake Benedict with tomato bruschetta and bearnaise. I have been to House Guest for dinner before, and my favourite thing on the dinner menu is the crab tater tots... yes... tater tots that are stuffed with crab. Amazing.

black & white.
I wear this sweater quite often, (also seen here) after picking it up a couple years ago from H&M, and I have yet to tire of wearing it. Luxuriously warm and one of the softest pieces I own.

kirsten.
With the sun shining on a cold winter day, walking around the West End with Kirsten was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Kirsten found the fur collar randomly at a little vintage shop on Davie just that morning, and paired it with the neutral Wilfred coat and vintage tee, giving the outfit a nice touch. It's too bad she didn't forget the collar at my place because I would be wearing it daily if she did :)!

a morning in gastown.
Lily and I went out for brunch and took a stroll around Gastown a couple weeks ago, and because of my very hectic winter holidays I forgot my computer at home when going over to the Island. So finally, here are some of the beautiful pictures of Lily, wearing something perfect for brunch and a crisp morning stroll.

work.
I never post any outfits that I wear to work... but when the sun was shining one morning and Ryan happened to have the camera on him, I decided that I may as well show one of the outfits that I usually wear 5 days out of the week. Always in flats, something comfortable, and lots of layers.
Wearing Wilfred coat, Margaret Howell sweater, Wilfred silk shirt, Club Monaco pants, pashmina scarf from Nepal, Everything toque, UO booties. Michael Kors watch.
