Our Vision

Our social vision is Supporting Sustainable Agriculture.

The goal is to empower farmers to achieve a strong position in the supply chain, support their high quality production and to give them a chance to earn a sustainable and fair income.

Smallholder farmers face internal organizational problems. Present market structures inhibit their communication with buyers and force them into a state of dependency on other market players. We aim at supporting farmers and want to empower them; empower them to organize their production in order to become professional businessmen.

Our approach is to change the present system by providing an innovative platform that directly integrates the farmers into the supply chain. The platform empowers farmers:

Our Mission

We seek to support stakeholders in the whole supply chain of high quality agricultural niche and premium products in terms of efficient and self-determined operational processes. This is realized through access to more information and providing the basis for better decision making. When understanding the own processes and realizing the possibility of collaboration with other market players, an effective positioning in the market can be achieved by our customers.

Our Team

The Cropster team is set apart from information engineers, geographer and communication experts. We are coming from Colombia or Austria. Each one lived and worked in Latin America.

Our team is a mix of former researchers in the agro sector and private company software architects. This special combination and our efficiency and reliability form the base for C-sar.

Working with a pure conscience, demanding high quality, handling challenges and working in a diverse team and environment motivates us to keep on working towards our social vision.
