I can’t get enough of the Florence Broadhurst patterned splashed across Kate Spade’s spring collection - and I’m determined to pick up something with the design. I love the shoes (and the pencil set!), but the cocktail plates are quickly becoming one of my favorite items.

These sneakers barely earn “Sartorial Steal” accolades ringing in at just under $100, but this collaborative effort between Kate Spade, Tretorn and artist Florence Broadhurst is too good to miss. I’m actually on the market for a pair of sneakers to wear with cuffed jeans and these fit the bill.

The problem with buying spring clothes in January is that I don’t have the patience to wait until it’s seasonally appropriate to wear them. This jacket hung in my closet for just a few hours before I winterized it with a pair of gloves and a heavy sequin skirt.

The best things come in small packages and many times they come tucked into a Christmas stocking. When I was growing up, Santa would fill my stocking with holiday candies on Christmas Eve, but there was always a little gift hidden beneath the sweets. Check out my guest post on La vie … J’aime to see what I’d love to find in my stocking this year.
