This is Genny. She’s a nice person. This is pretty much the image that comes to mind when she comes into my braynspaces.

Jumping on the thread started by mightyflynn, brian-k and Drew, here are the two main ballparks of my youth. First is Kamiak High School’s field, where I played my high school and American Legion ball. For the Kamiak Knights I mainly played 3b, though I also made appearances at DH, relief pitcher, and OF. For the Mukilteo Knights (Legion), I mainly played 3b, OF, and RP, though during my last season I almost always played catcher.
The second field is the Mariner High School field. Even though Mariner was supposed to be one of our rival schools, I played so many games on this field through the number of leagues I played in that I had to include it. In fact, I preferred this field to Kamiak’s because it was drier, flatter, and the ball carried better. (Kamiak’s field was built on a swamp.)
Sidenote: I once tried to change our American Legion team name to the Mukilteo Ferries, because even back then I was a wordnerd and enjoyed bad puns.
