+1 For the Penny-Arcade reference
Heh, if I made a reference it would be purely by coincidence, since I do not read PA.
Teal is what happens when blue throws up on green.
I happen to love teal, but only in that color combination with dark brown. Anywhere else and it starts to overstay it’s welcome.
Oh hay, you talk about that orange from the 70s, you’ve seen Pantone’s Color of the Year, right?

Lovely! I’m no big fan of orange either, since my junior high’s colors were orange and black, and I still count junior high as two of the worst years of my life. ^_^;;
The lockers were orange. The carpet was that dingy brownish orange. The outside of the building was orange. ORANGE EVERYWHERE.
If hell exists, it will be orange and teal.
DUDE!! I hate orange too!!! I thought I was the only one! XDD
I’ll join you in your anti-teal club…and I will help you start the anti-orange club. I had orange and brown for my school colors. I felt like a pumpkin in my gym uniform. I hated orange before then and even more so after high school. And that is saying a lot since I’ve been out of school for ages!
YAY!! Someone else who hates teal!! I thought I was alone in the world. It’s not irrational, it’s a really ugly color with no redeeming qualities.
D’aaaw. Teal is my favorite color range. I have a disgusting, horrible fetish with the colors between ocean and jade. <.<
Awww, who doesn’t like the appeal of teal?
My original podcast website, and the Webcomic Beacon’s original website was full-teal or “Pool table color”. It’s also Becky’s shirt color.
I had no idea “teal” was a “thing” at the time, nor do I know it now. Once I go shopping I will see if it stands out more.
Yeah, just about everything you can put in a kitchen has a teal version, it’s especially noticeable in that department.
I’ve always thought of pool table green as more of a straight-up green than teal, myself. Maybe cooler in hue than bright kelly green, but not quite in teal territory. *shrug*
Either way, I do like the WCBN’s color scheme and think it works well there. I just don’t want to wear it.
