Well, first about me.

I’m Martijn Beijk, Dutch, born in 1984. My name is a typical Dutch name. For more information on how to pronounce my name, you might find this Wiki entry about the IJ-digraph interesting. Still too difficult? Try Martin Bike, it sounds close

I’ve been working in Barcelona, Spain for about 10 months at Onetomarket.This is where I specialized in local search optimization, mapping features and mobile opportunities. And must say that I learned a lot about seo in general from my SEO teacher.
Times were changing and I decided to move back to the Netherlands again and switched Onetomarket Spain for Onetomarket, the Netherlands – focusing on SEO and Local Search in particular. This is also where I started my career as a webanalytics consultant.

In September 2011 I took a position at comScore as a Business Consultant for their Digital Analytix solution (previously Sitestat by Nedstat).

This website is still in project. or will be, always. Anyway, I try to focus on local search optimization, Universal or blended search, location-based services or just other knickknacks in this field of interest.
